Memory Lane!

Everyone else is doing this so I thought why not. Have fun!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I or you and Todd had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is the most memorable for you.

2. Next, if you feel so inclined, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you...!

3. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Do you remember that summer we did 4H with Emily and Ally? I remember the four of us in your kitchen cooking something. Also the carpooling to Taylorsville, I always thought your perfume smelled really good.

I have a lot of memories of us when we were young. I especially remember going to the Cabana Club(is that the right name?) in your neighborhood. I also remember all of us girls coming to your house and playing cars for hours on the cool car mat.

Probably my favorite memory is Guesstures night...you KNOW what I'm talking about...but I also remember how compassionate you were when everything went down with Jonathan; how you volunteered anything and everything you could give including your time, your sleep, and your prayers. I know I was in a fog when all of that happened, but I can't tell you how much it meant to have good friends around us. Thanks again!

When you moved into our ward in Henderson, Nevada I was so excited Heidi! I was glad to have a new friend and it was great cause you had a little girl nearly the same age as ours. I loved living across the street from you. Remember when we walked to the park with the kids and Carson was hanging upside down, he fell of the jungle gym and smacked his head. It swelled up right before our eyes. Whoa, I was a bit worried. I ran home with him and you put Belle and Rosie in the stroller and made your way to our apartment. When you got there Carson was lying on the couch with a bag of frozen vegis on his head. We had some fun times together and with the kids. I'm so glad we met in Nevada, you made my days a lot brighter.

Heidi, I just love these memory tags. All I have to say is Sunshine Generation. Wasn't that the best time. Performing at Hogle Zoo, practicing at Granite High, and carpooling....all of us crammed into a car, without seatbelts I am sure. I also remember doing 4H cooking. I am pretty sure we were in first grade together (Miss Hill's class)if not I know that is a time when we played together. I also remember your dad letting us ride on the tailgate of his truck from the Cabana Club back to your house! It's been a long time, we need to catch up for sure!

What a fun idea. This is going to seem silly and at the time I really didn't know you at all but, I saw you at Swiss Days and we happened to be trying hats on at the same place and I remember thinking that you looked so darn cute in hats and I looked horrible in them.

Oh Heidi, where do I begin! I have some good memories of you at Snow! You definitely made college a lot more fun! I loved that you would dress up with me and we would go out and you were not afraid to. You were always keeping us laughing with the little blonde that you have in you. Which is not a bad thing! Remember when we went sledding down the canyon road and you almost ran into a tree. It scared me!! You are always up for anything and willing to try anything! You were the best roommate!!

What a fun idea!

The memories I have of you that have been meaningful have been your many lessons in Relief Society you have taught! Everytime I've been there and they announce your the teacher, I have to admit I'm thrilled. You definitely do a GREAT job and know how to bring the Spirit into your lessons. So even though it might be something you dread - I'm sure many others look forward to your GREAT lessons just like me!! So THANK YOU!

Lots of memories, mostly sleeping over at your house. Your mom making dresses for my dolls. The times I went to school with you, remember when that boy tried to give me money at your school? I also remember going to your cabin with you and rolling Easter Eggs down the hill. A more recent memory is when I went rock climbing with you a Todd. Good times! I wish I could have been at the family vacation, I heard you had so much fun.

I had another memory of you come to mind this last week when John and I took my niece and nephew to Fremont to play. I think we were in second grade and I had ran out to the little play ground and right by the worm/ caterpillar (or whatever it was thingy) I fell and scraped up my knee. A bunch of kids just ran past me but you stopped to help, thanks for being so kind!

I remember your crazy days at snow. I remember your thermals that you ran around the house in and I kept yelling because they were gross. I remember you telling us about the gyno after your premarital exam and how fun that was. I remember always laughing and joking. I remember good old Todd who stuck around even when you weren't sure you liked him as much as he liked you. I remember riding around in Todd's truck with you guys. Good times. I loved the time you came back from four wheeling and you couldn't even get in the shower because your hair was caked to your clothes with MUD! It was great being your roommate!
